Building transparent, community-governed domains
Gordianic is currently in beta. During this phase, users can initiate or join DAO registrations, follow project progress, and help test the platform before full token distribution and DAO activation. Gordianic is experimental and currently operated as a pre-decentralized initiative. Token distribution will only take place after the required technical, legal, and operational steps have been completed.
- Current phase: Beta registration and testing
- Token distribution: Not yet active
- DAO activation: Pending legal setup, technical checks, and DAO domain completion
Current Project Status:
Beta registration is open
Users can currently:
- Initiate a DAO domain registration
- Join existing DAO domains
- Share DAO registration links with others
- Explore the demo DAO
- Follow project progress through this page
At this stage, no tokens have been distributed and no investment opportunity is being offered.
Changelog:
01-09-2026 — Simplified DAO onboarding
We’ve made it easier to launch a DAO idea on Gordianic.
Instead of creating and submitting an IPFS page, you can now simply provide a public link to your DAO idea — such as a website, Google Doc, Notion page, GitHub page, blog post, or discussion page.
The onboarding flow has also been simplified so you can choose your DAO domain, add your idea link, sign in with Privy, and continue with less friction.
16-07-2026 — Added Privy login and signup
Users can now create an account or log in using their email address, social account, or crypto wallet. This makes onboarding faster and more accessible, especially for users who are new to Web3.
13-06-2026 — Google Ads campaign started
To attract the first community members and beta testers, we have launched an ad campaign.
25-04-2026 — Beta status page published
Added public overview of current project status, roadmap, legal status, and known limitations.
25-04-2026 — Privacy and Terms update
Updated legal documents to clarify governance-only token purpose, experimental project status, data minimization, and user responsibilities.
25-04-2026 — Beta registration live
Users can initiate DAO registrations and join existing DAO domains.
Roadmap
1. Beta launch — In progress
The public beta website is live. Users can connect a wallet, initiate DAO registrations, and join DAO domains.
Status: In progress
Current focus: Testing forms, registration flows, wallet connection, and user onboarding
2. Community growth — In progress
Each DAO requires sufficient participation before it can move toward activation. The current threshold is 1,000 participants per DAO. but this threshold may be lowered if there is sufficient interest in Gordianic.io.
This threshold is intended to help ensure that newly activated DAOs begin with a meaningful community instead of being controlled by only a few participants.
Status: In progress
Goal: Grow qualified participation for each DAO
3. Legal entity setup — Planned
Before real token distribution begins, Gordianic intends to incorporate a legal entity, such as a Dutch BV, to support operational, legal, and tax responsibilities.
Status: Planned
Why this matters: A legal entity can provide a clearer operating structure before token distribution and DAO activation.
4. Legal and compliance review — Planned
Before any token distribution, Gordianic intends to review the legal, tax, privacy, and regulatory implications of the project.
This includes reviewing:
- Jurisdictional restrictions, if required
- Terms of Service
- Privacy Policy
- Airdrop mechanics
- Token distribution model
- Data minimization approach
Status: Planned
Token distribution will not begin before this step is completed.
5. Smart contract and technical review — Planned
Before launch, the technical setup must be reviewed, including:
- DAO creation flow
- Token contracts
- Vesting wallet
- Resolver contract
- Merkle tree or other airdrop eligibility mechanism
- Frontend and registration logic
Status: Planned
Goal: Reduce technical risk before activation
6. Token distribution preparation — Planned
If the project proceeds after beta testing and legal review, eligible participants may be included in a token distribution process. Tokens are intended for governance and participation only. They do not represent ownership, equity, profit rights, or an investment product.
Status: Planned
Goal: Reduce technical risk before activation
7. DAO activation — Planned
After distribution, DAO participants may be able to participate in governance through the relevant smart contracts and governance tools.
Governance may include decisions about:
- Domain content
- Community rules
- Treasury usage
- Project direction
- Migration or technical upgrades
Status: Planned
